Mallard Point is a vintage resort turned group getaway on a private peninsula. During it’s heyday as a resort the 1950s, this was a place for making Summer memories Up North. Today, we’re continuing the time-honored cabin tradition all year long at this special gathering place along the shores of Prairie Lake. With three cabins, over 1200 feet of private lakeshore, and unforgettable views, we invite you to bring the whole crew.

Mallard Point

Mallard Point is a private 2 acre peninsula on the shores of Prairie Lake. During the Summer months, we welcome groups to reserve the entire three-cabin property and from September to May individual cabins cab be booked.

Spruce Cabins

Mallard Woods is a 11 acre woods adjacent to Mallard Point. It’s two Spruce-clad cabins were part of the original resort on Mallard Point that were moved in 2026 and ultimately renovated into modern Scandinavian-inspired cabins.

It was a double-sauna Sunday. Sauna and cold plunge is an exercise in juxtaposition - hot + cold, physical + mental, calm + exertion, social + looking inward. The heat, the frigid lake water, the sunset, it was truly a perfect day. Thanks to everyone
